Terms of Use

CarFlip Terms of Use — last updated: September 23, 2026

1. What CarFlip is. CarFlip is a browser extension that displays price estimates and text summaries for used-car listings on Facebook Marketplace. It is an information tool, not a valuation service, inspection, warranty or financial advice.

2. Estimates are estimates. Prices are derived from asking prices of other listings and may be wrong for any specific car. Condition summaries come from the seller's own text and may miss or misread things. Always inspect a vehicle and verify title, mileage and condition yourself before paying.

3. No liability for deals. You are solely responsible for any purchase, offer or negotiation. CarFlip and its author are not liable for losses arising from reliance on the extension, including missed deals, overpayment, undisclosed defects, fraud by third parties, or Facebook account actions.

4. Licence. One subscription = one person, up to 2 devices. Do not share, resell, reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the extension, its prices, or its data. Automated systems detect bulk collection or copying; licences used for it are closed without refund, and we may pursue all legal remedies. Daily fair-use limits apply.

5. Payments and refunds. Billed through Lemon Squeezy. The 7-day free trial needs no card and ends on its own; nothing is charged unless you subscribe. Refunds: within 14 days of first charge on request. Subscriptions renew until cancelled.

6. Facebook. CarFlip is not affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc. Use of Facebook is governed by Facebook's own terms. CarFlip is read-only and takes no actions on your behalf, but you use it at your own risk with respect to Facebook's rules.

7. Changes and termination. We may change features, prices (with notice) or these terms, or discontinue the service. If we discontinue it, remaining prepaid time is refunded pro rata.

8. Governing law. New Jersey, USA. Disputes in New Jersey courts.
